Abstract: 

In this article, an attempt has been made to estimate the amount of sound transmission loss in a flat oval channel by applying the approach of statistical energy analysis. Correct estimation of sound transmission loss in an air conditioning channel is of great importance due to the harmful effects of noise pollution in the environment on human health. Simulation with the statistical energy analysis method is a powerful approach to estimate sound and vibration in problems in which we deal with complex and multi-part systems; is considered. In this method, first, a system is divided into several subsystems, and then by writing a matrix equation that includes the energy exchanges between subsystems and energy loss coefficients; It is investigated from the perspective of vibration and sound estimation.On average, the model presented in this research is able to estimate the sound transmission loss in different dimensions of the air conditioning channels according to the experimental results in the accuracy range of ± 2.5 dB. Considering that it seems that the results obtained from modeling with this method are in good agreement with the experimental data; The results of this research can be used as an efficient approach to estimate noise in oval shaped channels stretched in different lengths.

Abstract: 

Objective: People who have higher social health can more successfully deal with the challenges and ups and downs of playing key social roles and participate more in collective activities and prevent social deviations and anomalies. In this regard, foresight and the development of a forward-looking strategy model by the media can play an important role in promoting the social health of their audience (individuals).method: This research has been done qualitatively and quantitatively. In the qualitative phase, content analysis and Q methods were used, and in the quantitative phase, factor analysis was used to analyze the Q method data.Results: The content analysis of the media in this study showed that the most media production in the field of social deviations with 576 cases and the lowest media production in the field of violence with 237 cases. The field of social quality with 485 and the field of social issues with 312 cases are in the second and third ranks. A small questionnaire was made and based on it, the desired model was designed using PLS software. Conclusion: This model showed that the function of media is effective in promoting social health of society and can have the greatest impact on improving quality of life, reducing violence, reducing social deviations and social issues.

Abstract: 

The main objective of this study is to investigate the phenomenon of water impact underneath the decks of offshore structures due to propagating waves. The decks of offshore structures may be subjected to wave induced loads, which may be not accounted for in the original design. For safe design of offshore platforms, it is important that the hydrodynamic loads and the predicted accurately. In this report, a review of the previous work on this topic with a brief introduction to slamming theory together with a proposed procedure to predict the water impact underneath the decks of floating offshore structures will be presented. Meantime, three dimensional hydrodynamic analysis of a semi-submersible in sea waves has been performed by using the direct boundary element methods.

Abstract: 

Determining the boundaries of genera in subtribe Trigonellinae Small has been one of the most controversial taxonomic issues in this field in last 100 years. Proposing the many characters for separating these genera by various botanists can be considered as a reason for this claim. Characters of the flower parts as well as other vegetative traits have been used extensively. Here on the basis of 5 qualitative and 19 quantitative flower characters we separated Trigonella species (especially perennial section Ellipticae (Boiss. ) Sirj. ) from other genera of this subtribe and showed the results in dendrogram and scatter plot. Placement of the Medicagoid species of section Bucerates (Boiss. ) Sirj. and Medicago L. in one branch and presence of Melilotus indicus (L. ) All. along with other Trigonella species (except section Ellipticae as a distinct branch) are the main results of this investigation.

Abstract: 

The purpose of the current research was to investigate the obstacles to the implementation of school-based management in Iran's educational system based on the interpretive structural modeling approach. The research method was a modeling study. The statistical population of the research was specifically the academic staff members of the university, 25 of whom were purposefully selected from the desired cases. The data collection tool was a researcher-made self-interactive questionnaire. In order to measure and evaluate the validity of the questionnaire, the criterion of content validity was used. The content validity of the questionnaire was 0.96. The data analysis was done with interpretive structural modeling method. The results of the research showed that 9 factors play a role as barriers to school-oriented management. Also, the results showed that financial obstacles (the cost of school-oriented management), socio-cultural obstacles and political obstacles (political focus on schools by the central government) as key independent variables have high influence power and low dependence. Also, the results showed that the lack of belief in the professional competence of school administrators, the lack of infrastructure facilities, the emphasis of upper management on the supervision and control of schools, and the lack of cooperation of local communities with school-based management as the linking variables with the greatest power of influence and the greatest power of dependence. and the centralism in the education system of the country and the lack of legal powers to school managers and staff as dependent variables have high dependency power and low influence power.

Abstract: 

Sluggish Cognitive Tempo is used to describe a particular type of attention deficit, concentration, and slowness in information processing. The aim of this study was to investigate the psychometric properties of the Sluggish Cognitive Tempo Scale (SCTS) of the parent form among Iranian children. The present study is a descriptive study. A sample of 1700 people was selected from the provinces of Tehran, East Azerbaijan, West Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, Fars and Khorasan using cluster sampling method. 122 subjects were excluded from statistical analysis due to incomplete answers to the questionnaires and thus the final sample was reduced to 1578 parents. The confirmatory factor analysis method and internal consistency were used to compute the Sluggish Cognitive Tempo Scale factorial validity and Reliability, respectively. Also, in order to examine the construct validity of the Sluggish Cognitive Tempo Scale, we computed correlations between different dimensions of Sluggish Cognitive Tempo Scale with Attention Deficit Subscale of Mental Health Assessment Questionnaire for Children and Adolescents. The results of statistical results showed that this scale has structural validity, criterion and convergence in Iranian society. The results indicate that the scale is three factors and also the validity of the scale using Cronbach's alpha method and retest test after Approved two weeks. According to the findings of the present study, the parent form of the Sluggish Cognitive Tempo Scale (SCTS) has a good validity and Reliability and it can be used in research related to slow cognitive multiplication in Iranian society.

Abstract: 

Background: The expansion of the use of audio and video media technology has faced society with many medical, cultural and economic challenges. In the meantime, excessive use of mobile phones can cause many problems. Objective: The aim of this study was to construct and validate a questionnaire on physical and psychological injuries of mobile phones. method: The method of the present study was descriptive-correlational and confirmatory factor analysis. The statistical population of the study consisted of all citizens of Khorramabad with a diploma or higher in 1399, which was selected as a statistical sample by available sampling method of 200 people online and virtual. Results: The results showed that the factorized physical and psychological harm questionnaire of cell phone with 42 questions and 10 components (fear of loss, vibration syndrome, duck syndrome, nomophobia, insomnia, hearing problem, eye syndrome, tunnel and neck syndrome SMS) and has good Reliability, validity and flexibility in terms of psychometrics. Discussion and Conclusion: The questionnaire of factor analysis of physical and psychological injuries of mobile phones can be used to identify and study the physical and psychological injuries of mobile phones.

Abstract: 

The Hasofer-Lind and Rackwitz-Fiessler (HLRF) algorithm, which is based on the first-order Reliability method (FORM), is widely used to estimate failure probability, Reliability index, and design point in structural Reliability analysis. However, due to the high nonlinearity of the limit state surface, the HLRF algorithm can be unstable. To address this issue, this paper proposes an optimization method to locate and estimate the design point in the standard normal space and calculate the corresponding failure probability. The Reliability problem is solved using sequential least squares programming (SLSQP) to improve accuracy, robustness, and efficiency. SLSQP replaces the quadratic programming problem with a linear least-squares problem, using a stable LDL factorization of the Hessian of the Lagrangian equation. The initial optimization problem is converted into a minimum distance optimization problem with a lower bound constraint. To eliminate linearization errors, the probability expectation method with rotation directions space is employed. The proposed algorithm is demonstrated in several benchmark numerical examples with both explicit and implicit limit state functions. Its fast convergence rate is a notable feature of the proposed algorithm, which enhances its competitiveness in structural Reliability analysis.

Abstract: 

The stability transformation method (STM) of chaos feedback control is a simple and efficient approach to implement the convergence control of the first order Reliability method (FORM). The robustness and efficiency of the STM are depended on selected parameters of this algorithm such that involuntary matrix and step size in structural Reliability analysis. When involuntary matrix and step size are inappropriately selected, the STM iterative formula can be prematurely and slowly converged. In this paper, the STM scheme was improved based on a simple dynamical step size and the involuntary matrix equals to unit matrix. The proposed dynamical step size can be computed using the new and previous results of the FORM iterative formula. The efficiency and robustness of improved STM was compared with the STM and finite-step length methods from five numerical and mechanical examples taken through the literature. The results impales that the improved STM not only ensured the numerical stability of nonlinear mechanical problems but also is more efficient than the STM to approximate the failure probability.

Abstract: 

The computational burdens and more accurate approximations for the estimation of the failure probability are the main concerns in the structural Reliability analyses. The Monte Carlo simulation (MCS) method can simply provide an accurate estimation for the failure probability, but it is a time-consuming method for complex Reliability engineering problems with a low failure probability and may efficiently approximate the failure probability. In this paper, the efficiency of MCS for the computations of the performance function is improved using a random-weighted method known as the random-weighted MCS (RWMC) method. By using the weighted exponential function, the weights of random data points generated by MCS are adjusted by selecting the random point in the design space. The convergence performances including the computational burdens for evaluating the limit sate function and the accuracy of failure probabilities of RWMC are compared with MCS by using several nonlinear and complex mathematical and structural problems with normal and no-normal random variables. The results indicate that the proposed RWMC method can estimate the accurate results with the less computational burdens, about 100 to 1000 times faster than MCS.
